WINE CLUB
Our May Tasting will be held on Tuesday, May 21st when we will be having our “Blind Tasting Contest!” This time we will be trying to determine which wines are which! All the wines will be selected from those we have previously enjoyed at a tasting. Tom Mitchell will select the 4 White Wines and 4 Red Wines we will be identifying and he will provide our commentary for this tasting. Prizes will be awarded for those with the “right” answers.
We will also include our “Wine Shirt Contest” for those members wanting to participate. Shirts may be store bought, “personally decorated” or a combination of both. We will have three categories - most original, most fun & voted the “best” by the attendees. Prizes will be awarded to the winners.
We will follow our usual format for the evening. Enter through the Lobby to the Veranda where you will pick up your name badges and raffle ticket. Tables will be set for 8 paces each and there is no assigned seating for this tasting. Please do remember to bring your wine glasses with you - wine tastes so much better in a glass than a plastic cup! Doors open at 7PM and we will start our evening at 7:15 PM due to the Mixed Bocce schedules.
The cost for this tasting will be $20 per person and checks should be made payable to FSML – Wine Club with the notation May in the memo line. Please place your checks in the Wine Club lockbox #27 in the Clubhouse Lobby NO LATER THAN Thursday, May 16th . This ensures we have enough food and places set for all attendees.
