BRANDEIS AUGUST FOOD COLLECTION

 

 Brandeis will be holding a community food collection for the Jackson Food Pantry on Saturday, August 26th from 9am - 11am. The collection will be held by the Gazebo in the parking lot.

 *Please donate “new, unopened, non perishable” items.

 

 ITEMS NEEDED:

 Dry Pasta, jars/cans red tomato sauce;  box cereals (kids/adults); *Mac/cheese boxes;   pb & jelly - grape, strawberry;  can/packs tuna or chicken;  juice boxes, apple or orange juices; can green beans, carrots, peas, mixed;  applesauce packs or cans; fruit cups, variety;  cases water.

 

 PERSONAL CARE ITEMS:

 toothpaste and brushes for adult/kids;  *bar soap (single or packages - Do Not separate packages.);  shampoo/conditioner;  Single wrapped or 4 pks Toilet paper (Do Not separate any 2-4 or larger pks.  Against the health laws, must be wrapped or cannot accept.).

 

*Please NOTE: the Pantry is out of many of these items if you can purchase a pack that would help greatly! Bar Soaps, toothbrushes/paste, toilet paper all greatly needed.

 

 Please NOTE:  Even though this is still summer months thru September, the food pantry will not be filled yet and thru colder months.  Also children will be going back to school in a month, so they will need to be eating breakfast and lunches if they don’t get at school (high schools).

 So Please remember to pick up a few items as you grocery shop.  Every donation counts in order to keep the Jackson Food Pantry operating and feeding 100s of families and seniors in the Jackson community.  Your generosity is greatly appreciated.
