Remember the 1959 Alfred Hitchcock movie “North by Northwest”. Well, in October of 2023, we won’t be chasing Cary Grant, but we will be pursuing some enjoyable wines.
Our Wine Club event will be held on
Tuesday, October 24, 2023
in the Ballroom starting at 7:00 p.m.
Peter Fairfax, from Regal Wine Imports, will be walking – not chasing – us through wines from Oregon and Washington State. He will lead us through sampling some new and different wines and the club will provide some light treats to go with them.
Registration is $20 per person. Members please make checks payable to F.S.M.L. with “October Wine Club” on the memo line and place them in the Wine Club Mail Box, #27, in the Club House.
> Please register by the end of the day Friday, October 6th.
> NO registrations will be accepted after the close of that day
As we always remain cognizant of the ever present COVID, RSV and Flu concerns as they relate to the safety of our members, we encourage social distancing, and we’ll plan for no more than eight [8] people at a table. [If you have a group you would like to sit with, please use the seating form that is available in the Club House or put all the names on one sheet of paper and then put it with all the checks in the same envelope.]
If you are registered for the sampling and don’t feel well and can give us twenty-four [24] hours advance notice of not attending it is greatly appreciated. If you have a serious mobility issue, please contact the event organizer for available accommodations at the event.
