Steve Hitner, a botanist and member of the Friends of Herrontown Woods, will lead us on our walk. We will visit the award-winning “Barden,” which is a botanical art garden, and walk up to the Verblen House where the original owners lived. We will have an easy stroll through the grounds, learning about the plant diversity and the habitat restoration work that has been taking place. Please wear appropriate clothing and walking shoes! You may wish to venture into the town of Princeton to have lunch at one of the many great restaurants in town. Transportation is on your own.
