OPERATION PAPERBACK 9/11 SERVICE PROJECT Harmony Chapter, Brandeis National Committee, will be collecting soft cover paperback books to forward to our servicemen and women on WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 12, 11:00 A.M.-1:00 P.M., at the gazebo in the parking lot. OPERATION PAPERBACK is a non-profit organization that collects gently used books nationwide and sends them to troops overseas, as well as veterans and military families here at home. Troops are told that our boxes include a variety of good quality fiction and non-fiction books.Please select only books that are in good condition. Troops enjoy current and classic fiction, spy novels, thrillers, crime stories, travel, biographies, science fiction, etc. NO ROMANCE NOVELS PLEASE. YOU MAY INCLUDE A NOTE to the servicemen and women in each book you donate. IF YOU ARE GOING ON A TRIP SCHEDULED FOR SEPTEMBER 12 PLEASE LEAVE THE BOOKS YOU ARE DONATING IN THE GAZEBO PRIOR TO BOARDING THE BUS.
