THE BOCCE BOYZ CLUB

CHRISTMAS/HOLIDAY AND MEMBERSHIP RENEWAL LUNCHEON

Although it’s not our first Christmas/Holiday gathering it should prove to be unique in many ways in that for the first time, spouses and significant others have been invited to attend.  Also, it will not be held at Brooklyn Square Pizzeria and Restaurant, but in The Clubhouse Ballroom.   It will not take place on a weekday, but on Sunday, December 2^nd, 2018 at 1:00 PM.  And if you enjoyed being a member in 2018, it will be a time for you to renew your membership for 2019 while getting a preview of the calendar of events for the coming year.

As it will probably be too cold to play bocce in early December, we will have to bring the warmth and the competitive spirit of bocce indoors with the following planned:

·A look-back at 2018 through songs and pictures.

·A visit from Santa Clause who can’t wait to have you sit on his lap for a once-in-a lifetime photo opportunity.

·Entertainment provided by all who attend with a karaoke sing-along hosted by non-other than Roger Miliote with Cliff Garland as background accompaniment.

·You can Bring Your Own Bottle (BYOB) but our resident mixologist will be creating a potpourri of holiday quaffs including spiked and un-spiked Egg Nog, Bloody Mary, Strawberry Daiquiri and back by popular demand, Apple Martinis!   As in the past, you bring the spike (alcohol) and we will supply the mixer.

·To satisfy your taste buds a buffet luncheon of Solo Bella’s finest cold-cut sandwiches, Brooklyn Square’s Sicilian Pizza and Aunt Kathi’s sausage/peppers followed by epicurean desserts and coffee will be served. 

The cost of the luncheon is $18.00 per person; Club membership renewal for 2019 is $20.00 per Bocce Boy.    If you plan on attending, please RSVP no later than Saturday, November 17^th, 2018 by depositing your check(s) in the Bocce Boyz Mailbox #24; and please no cash, only checks payable to FSML with a note on the memo line: “Membership Renewal Luncheon.”
