Hard to believe – but it is Holiday time again! Our Holiday Wine and Food Pairing is Tuesday, December 17th beginning at 7 PM in the Clubhouse Ballroom. You will begin this evening’s festivities with some bubbly, salad and assorted rolls, and music provided by Lou Abbato. Our speaker, Bob Kylie will explain some of the intricacies of food and wine pairing.
Once again we will have four stations with food and complimenting wines specifically paired with the food presented for your enjoyment. Station 1 will have Bacon Wrapped Meatballs with a Bourbon sauce served with 2 hearty red wines. Station 2 will have Coconut Chicken skewers paired with 2 wines. Station 3 will include Cheese stuffed Perogies with Angelina sauce, paired with one white and one red wine. Station 4 will feature Stuffed Shrimp (with lump crabmeat) and 2 wines. Our special dessert will be Tiramisu paired with red wine and will include our “signature” chocolate selections. Our food will be catered by the Carlo Boemio family at the Three B’s Bar and Bistro in Lakehurst NJ. Everyone will have the opportunity to taste all the food and wines for the evening. Coffee will also be available for your evening’s enjoyment.
Tables will be arranged for 8 places each, and we allow a maximum of 12 tables for this party due to space needs. The cost is $50 per person and checks should be made payable to FSML – Wine Club with the notation “Holiday” in the memo line. Please place your checks in the Wine Club lockbox #27 NO LATER than Wednesday, December 11th PLEASE. This ensures the caterer is able to meet our food needs for the evening. This is the one time we will accept “Table Reservations” and, if you want to arrange a reserved table, please include all checks with the table reservation form.
For this evening’s event – we will be having folks sign-in in the Lobby where you will pick up your name , table (if previously arranged) and raffle ticket. Also, do remember to bring your wine glasses with you for the evening – wine tastes so much better in a glass than a plastic cup! Glitz and glamour are highly encouraged for this event!
