MEN’S  CLUB SCHEDULES

 

 AARP  DRIVER  SAFETY CLASS 

 

 TUESDAY, MARCH 19th  

 

 

In conjunction with the AARP, your Men’s Club has sponsored Driver Safety classes at Metedeconk for the past 11 years.  The classes have provided the residents of our community the opportunity to become familiar with current driving regulations, the effects of medication and age on driving ability, important vehicle safety features, safety strategies, and defensive techniques.

 

Upon completion of the AARP Driver Safety class you’ll be awarded a certificate that can be useful in obtaining a deduction on your auto insurance policy.  Although every insurer is different, each one of them will grant you some type of deduction on your premium for 3 years if you’ve taken this class.  In addition, if you have 4 or less violation points on your license, 2 are usually removed after course completion.

 

In order to sign up for the  March 19th   class you must E-MAIL  Hal at HM4EVR@OptOnLine.Net .  Registration is required.  

 

CLASSES ARE OPEN TO FSML RESIDENTS ONLY.

 

The maximum number allowed will be 20 participants.   Classes take place in the clubhouse card/TV room.

 

Class begins at 9:00AM.  The classes are open to ALL RESIDENTS regardless of Men’s Club affiliation.  The cost for AARP members is $15.00; the cost for non-AARP members is $20.00.  Present your AARP card for the discount.  Checks are made payable to “AARP” and will be collected on the day of the class.  When you e-mail Hal to register please indicate your status: AARP member, Non-AARP member.

 

Both community and exclusive Men’s Club e-mails will be broadcast periodically to remind residents about the value and dates of these classes.
