| Description: | WINE CLUB Greetings All! Since we had such a great time last year - We are again having for March - Wine on the Veranda! Please join us for the twist on the time-honored tradition of “Wine tasting with Friends” on Friday, March22nd. from 5PM to 7PM. For those who wish to stay and party longer – we will be ordering “Pizza In” to share. This is a very relaxed and fun evening. For this venture, we use a BYOW (Bring Your Own Wine) format. You and a spouse, partner and/or friend (or just yourself) can bring whatever bottle of wine you’d like to drink that evening. Then, along with a fellow oenophile (wine lover), together bring 1 bottle for sharing - your choice. It can be a favorite wine from one of our tastings, or something you have found - or made - that you want to share with us. When you sign in at the Concierge Desk for the evening of March 22nd you may drop off your sharing wine and then proceed to the Veranda to enjoy a wonderful glass of wine, a roaring fire and hopefully, a beautiful sunset. When we get to the sharing part - if you would like to speak to the group about why you selected that particular wine to share - that will be great. If not – we’ll just enjoy tasting it. Everyone will take home their leftover wine. The cost for this evening is $6 per person which includes light table snacks. Due to space limitations on the Veranda, attendance is strictly limited to 40 people. Sign-up is Monday March 11th from 7AM to 7PM. PLEASE place your checks in an envelope with the NUMBER of guests clearly indicated on the front (NO NAMES PLEASE) - and place the envelope in the Wine Club lockbox #27 in the Clubhouse lobby. If the event is oversold, Management will supervise a lottery. As a special enticement, Kevin McCormick of Spirits Unlimited has generously offered a 15% discount on wines purchased for our BYOW event. Just let him, Tom Mitchell, or Glenn Connor know you are purchasing the wine for the FSML Wine Club event. Our next “typical” wine tasting will be held in April on Tuesday the 16th when we will feature “Wines For the Holidays” including some Kosher wines for Passover. I have tasted some of them and you will find them very enjoyable! Look for more information in early April.
