A light breakfast will be served
RONALD H. BALSON is a Chicago trial attorney, an educator, and a writer. His practice has taken him to several international venues including Poland, which served as the inspiration for his first best selling novel, Once We Were Brothers. A love of history, the Middle East, and traveling inspired his second novel, Saving Sophie. Drawing on the true life story of a Holocaust survivor, Ron wrote Karolina’s Twins, another international bestseller. Ron was a finalist for the Harper Lee Award for Legal Fiction in 2014. He was an honoree at the Chicago Public Library Foundation’s Carl Sandburg Literary Award dinner and is a frequent personality of radio and public television.
The Men’s Club author’s breakfast will be taking place in our ballroom on April 27th. at 9:30AM. Since it’s the last day of Passover, we’ll provide matzoh as well as bagels +. Coffee, tea will be provided as well.
The cost for this breakfast & author event is $12.pp for 2019 MC members, spouses/Significant Others. Seats & tables will be set up in preparation for an MC show that evening. No table reservations will be necessary for the morning event. 140 seats will be available (14 tables). Sit where you please. We’re collecting NOW, so place your check(s) in the MC box, payable to “FSML-Men’s Club,” memo line “Balson.”
