| Description: |  The first Wine Club tasting for our new Club year is Tuesday, September 17!
Some updates to our first Wine Tasting on September 17! Our tasting will feature “Value Wines with Unusual Grapes” from Spain, Argentina, Italy and California. Rose Basiak and Bill Hybbeneth selected the 4 White Wines and 5 red Wines you will taste and enjoy. The wines range in price from $6.99 to $16.99. We will also have Cassandra (Cassie) Moore from Harrison Imports and she will be accompanied by Jackie Giberson, a certified sommelier as speakers for our evening. Our usual nibbles will feature an “International” flair for this first tasting.
The evening will follow our typical format. Tables will be set for 8 places each and there is no assigned seating. Folks will enter through the Lobby to the Veranda where you will pick up your name badges and raffle ticket. We usually start at 7 PM and doors will open at 6:45PM. New members will receive their wine glasses at the first event they attend and will need to carry them home safely. All members are urged to remember to bring their wine glasses with them to each tasting – wine tastes much better in a glass than a plastic cup!
This tasting will cost $20 person. Folks should make their checks payable FSML - wine Club with the notation “September” in the memo line. Please place your checks – no envelopes needed – in the WINE CLUB lockbox #27 no later than Friday the 13th PLEASE. This ensures we have enough places and food available for all attendees.
