BROOKLYN CLUB MOVIE NIGHT

Sunday, June 23rd at 7:00 P.M.

We will be showing a wonderful documentary about

growing up in New York in the late 50's and 60's.

                

As people from all over the globe settled in New York in the early 1900's, one thread the children of all these cultures could share was the games they played together in the city streets.  NEW YORK STREET GAMES is a look back at when things were a bit simpler and creativity was a prerequisite to play. Many of these games are no longer played, replaced by technology and lost through the passage of time; but the memories shaped by those days will never fade.  Join some of your favorite celebrities and prominent New Yorkers on a journey of fond memories and insights into how street games impacted their lives and still have a place in today's world.

We will have a light discussion afterward followed, of course, with snacks and ice cream.
