Calendar

Brandeis will be holding 2 community food collections over the summer months for the Jackson Food Pantry.  The dates are as follows; Please “mark your calendars”:

July 13 - Saturday, 9am to 11am

August 10 - Saturday, 9am to 11am (detailed email to follow later month)

Collections will be near the gazebo in parking lot by clubhouse.

The items for the JULY collection are as follows:

FOOD ITEMS: Can veggies (corn, green beans, carrots); can/jars red pasta sauce; box/packaged dry pasta (spaghetti, ziti, etc); “a lot of” box/packaged Mac n Cheese for kids; can fruits-peaches or fruit cups; 

Juice packs-flavors/apple or large bottles; single bottled water-24 packs etc; boxed Cereals (kids/adults); package/can tuna or chicken; peanut butter n jelly, dry boxed jello (not cups).

PERSONAL CARE ITEMS: tooth brushes and toothpaste (kids/adults);

Bar soap packs or individual; 4 pack toilet paper rolls ONLY; women’s sanitary needs (pads); deodorant (men/women) NOTE: DO NOT SEPARATE any packaged products.

All food items MUST BE non perishable, new, unopened items that do not have expired dates.  A similar detailed list for August will be sent in later July listing the items for that collection.

Plastic Bags are also being collected and are much needed to bag food at pantry.  Tote bags also accepted.

Every donation counts in order to keep the Jackson Food Pantry operating and feeding 100+families and seniors in the Jackson community.
