| Description: | We will be holding a summer food collection for the Jackson Food Pantry. Please mark your calendars!!!
JULY 17, SATURDAY 9am to 11am , and will be near the gazebo in the Clubhouse parking lot.
The items for this collection are as follows:
FOOD ITEMS: Can or jars red pasta sauce; box/packaged dry pasta (spaghetti, ziti, etc); “a lot of” box/packaged Mac n Cheese for kids; can fruits-peaches, mixed or fruit cups; mustard/ketchup/mayo; salad dressings (ranch/Italian); Jello cups,
Juice packs-flavors/apple or large bottles; Single bottled water-24 packs etc; boxed Cereals (kids); package/can tuna or chicken; a “lot of” peanut butter n jelly; rice mixes and rice packages/bags.
PERSONAL CARE ITEMS: (really needed):
tooth brushes and toothpaste (kids/adults); Bar soap packs or individual; 4 pack toilet paper rolls ONLY, (DO NOT separate); women's sanitary needs (pads); deodorant (women/men).
NOTE: DO NOT Separate any Packaged Products or can’t be given out.
Important: All food items MUST BE non perishable, new, unopened items that have not expired.
PLASTIC BAGS are also being collected and are much needed to bag food at pantry. Please also deliver to Vickie when you have a quantity, (Please Call or email first, Do Not leave bags on porch without contacting me. Much appreciated)

NOTE: if you would like to make a monetary donation (in the form of checks, money, gift cards) to the Food Pantry, please personally drop off to the Jackson Food Pantry on Don Connor Blvd at Public Works Bldg on Saturday mornings from 10-12n. (Checks Made out to the Jackson Women of Today, Food Pantry.)
PLEASE REMEMBER to pick up a few extra items as you grocery shop! Every donation counts in order to keep the Jackson Food Pantry operating and feeding 100+families and seniors in the Jackson community.
