The annual Break the Fast meal will take
place on Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at
7:30 in the ballroom.
This event will be catered by Bagel Run. The food will be
served at the tables, and the meal will consist of egg, tuna,
and whitefish salads; herring in cream sauce; lox; and
cream cheeses. Additional items such as tomatoes, onions,
butter, and a variety of bagels are also included. Coffee,
tea, juices, and pastries will be available.
The cost for this event is $18 per person. If you wish to
attend, place your check(FSML) in the Shalom drawer
from September 22, 2019 to September 30, 2019.
Each resident couple, or single resident, may bring up to
two non-resident adult guests at a cost of $20 pp.
Attendees who wish to be seated at the same table should
place all checks in the same envelope along with an official
completed table seating form. There is a maximum of ten
people at a table. Attendees who are not forming a full or
partial table will be assigned to a table.

Greetings All!
Join us on Tuesday, October 15th as our wine tasting features wines from small boutique wineries in Italy in honor of Columbus Day celebrations. Committee members Bob Skeele and Harvey Maldow selected the 3 White and 5 Red wines we will sample and enjoy. The wines range in price rom $11.99 to $39.99, and some are very small production wines of 400 cases per year. Several wines are also organically grown. Our speaker will be Joseph De Marco, Regional Manager for Classica International NV. Our usual nibbles will have an “Italian” influence for the evening.
We will follow our typical format for the evening. Tables will be set for 8 places each and there is no assigned seating. Folks will enter through the Lobby to the Veranda where you will pick up your name badges and raffle ticket. We will start at 7PM and doors will open at 6:45 PM. New members will receive their Club Wine Glasses at the first tasting they attend, and will need to carry them home safely. All members are reminded to BRING your wine glasses with you to this tasting. Wine tastes so much better in a glass than a plastic cup!
This tasting will cost $20 per person. Checks should be made payable to FSML – Wine Club with the notation October in the memo line, and place them in the WINE CLUB Lockbox #27 in the Clubhouse Lobby. No envelopes are necessary. Please have your checks in the lockbox NO LATER THAN Friday, October 11th to ensure we have enough places set and food available for all attendees.

Pneumonia and Flu shots are being offered to the residents of Four Seasons at Metedeconk Lakes.
The shots will be offered by Walgreens on Monday, October 21, 2019 in the Ballroom, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. The costs of the shots are solely the financial responsibility of the resident, not the HOA.
In order to offer this service to the community, a minimum of 25 residents are needed to participate.

Bocce Boyz Luncheon

Our last quarterly luncheon for 2019 will once again be held at Brooklyn Square Pizzeria/Restaurant located at
265 S. New Prospect Rd on Friday, October 25th, 2019 and begin promptly at Noon. Although voted as the best
made pizza in the state of New Jersey over two years ago, it still remains as one of my favorite all around Italian
Restaurants especially with the great service that is always afforded to The Bocce Boyz, their friends and their families.
As always our luncheon will be an epicurean delight to include special antipasto appetizers (with fried calamari
prepared three different ways), several kinds of pizza and a couple of different Italian desserts. You can BYOB,
but Mr. John Daniels and Ms. Marie Brizzard will be joining us along with the traditional soft and not so soft quaffs
to quench your thirst.

55 Plus Meeting-"Are we in a Constitutional Crises?"

On Thursday, October 31, at 10:00am, there will be an interesting talk at the 55Plus meeting in Princeton, NJ. The talk is entitled “Are We in a Constitutional Crisis?”. The speaker will be Keith E. Whittington, the William Nelson Cromwell Professor of Politics at Princeton University.
This talk will take place at The Princeton Jewish Center, 435 Nassau St., Princeton, NJ. There is a $4.00/pp charge; however, you also get coffee or tea and cookies.
People going to this meeting should go to our clubhouse parking lot around 8:30am and park by the gazebo. We then fill up cars and depart at 8:45am.
