We will be holding an October food collection for the Jackson Food Pantry.  Please mark your calendars!!!  
October 24, Saturday, 9am to 11am by the Gazebo in the Clubhouse parking lot.

The items for the collection are as follows:
 
FOOD ITEMS: Can veggies (corn, green beans, carrots); can/jars red pasta sauce; box/packaged dry pasta (spaghetti, ziti, etc); “a lot of” box/packaged Mac n Cheese for kids; can fruits-peaches or fruit cups; Juice packs; mustard/ketchup/mayo, salad dressing (ranch, Italian); jello cups or box; Peanut butter/grape jelly; pack/can tuna or chicken; Easy rice mixes like Rice a Roni; single bottled water-24 packs; boxed Cereals (kids/adults)
 
PERSONAL CARE ITEMS: (really needed):
tooth brushes and toothpaste (kids/adults); Bar soap packs or individual; 4 pack toilet paper rolls ONLY, (DO NOT separate); women's sanitary needs (pads);  deodorant (women/men).  NOTE: DO NOT Separate any Packaged Products or can’t be given out.
 
All food items MUST BE non perishable, new, unopened items that have not expired .
PLASTIC BAGS are also being collected and are much needed to bag food at pantry. 
 
PLEASE REMEMBER to pick up a few extra items as you grocery shop. Every donation counts in order to keep the Jackson Food Pantry operating and feeding 100+families and seniors in the Jackson community. 
Your generosity is greatly appreciated and much needed at the Jackson Food Pantry during these extraordinary times.

Re:     Budget meeting rescheduled- Presentation of 2021 Proposed Budget

On Wednesday, October 28 at 7 PM there will be an open meeting for all residents at which time our Treasurer, Allan Tamarkin, will present the proposed 2021 FSML Budget.  This meeting will take place as an interactive teleconference where all participants will have the opportunity to ask questions, make comments, and hear all other participants' input.  We encourage residents to please take part.
 
To participate in this meeting please follow the following steps:
The presentation print out will be available Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday outside the front door of the clubhouse or you can click the link at the bottom of this email.  Power point presentation is also available on the website.  
Using your telephone call 732-839-3003.  Please do not call in more than 10 minutes prior to the start of the meeting.  If there are long periods of no dialog the system automatically ends the meeting and we must restart the call.
When prompted enter the conference ID 6982915#.  You will hear music until the meeting starts.
Once the meeting begins you will be instructed, at the appropriate time, on how to ask questions or make comments that all participants will hear.   Please ignore the instructions to press *6 to ask a question. We will be controlling the call from the Host Control Panel and will un-mute participants that request the opportunity to speak.  By pressing *6 you will be muting yourself again after we un-mute you.
Hope that many of you will participate in this process which keeps our community running smoothly.
