A Northwest Pursuit
Remember the 1959 Alfred Hitchcock movie “North by Northwest”. Well, in October of 2023, we won’t be chasing Cary Grant, but we will be pursuing some enjoyable wines.
Our Wine Club event will be held on

Peter Fairfax, from Regal Wine Imports, will be walking – not chasing – us through wines from Oregon and Washington State.
He will lead us through sampling some new and different wines and the club will provide some light treats to go with them.
Registration is $20 per person. Members please make checks payable to F.S.M.L. with “October Wine Club” on the memo line and place them in the Wine Club Mail Box, #27, in the Club House.

As we always remain cognizant of the ever present COVID, RSV and Flu concerns as they relate to the safety of our members, we encourage social distancing, and we’ll plan for no more than eight [8] people at a table. Brandeis New Coat Collection for Children
(PLEASE NO ADULT OR USED COATS)
Date: October 17th – October 31st, 2023
Coat Deposit Locations: Collection boxes are located at the Clubhouse & at 8 Waltham Court
Purpose: Please support underserved children in the Freehold Borough Community by donating new coats (not used), sizes from pre-school to teenager. The coats are being collected by the Brandeis Community Service Committee and transported to The Society of St. Vincent de Paul in Freehold Borough for distribution to families in need. The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is a worldwide organization of lay Catholics who are committed to serving the poor, the suffering, and the deprived. Recipients of the families who are to receive the coats must undergo a financial screening by The Society of St. Vincent de Paul.
For those who want to participate but prefer not to incur the entire cost of a coat, please consider joining in with other residents to share the cost.
