Mags Animal Group Services Collection

Saturday, February 1st, 2020, All Day Event at Lobby

For the Love of Animals

MAGS, Metedeconk Animal Group Services, is happy to announce

we will again be having a collection box in the clubhouse lobby

from Monday, January 13th to Saturday, February 1st. This is a

very critical time for the Jackson Animal Shelter. Their donations

are low but their needs are high.

We are asking for pet food, both dry and canned, pet treats

and cat litter. Also, new pet bedding, collars, leads and toys.

Anything that will make a pet smile!

Your help is greatly needed at this time. The proceeds from this collection

will go to the Northern Ocean County Animal Facility in Jackson for their

animals on site. They will also distribute food to the foster families of the

shelter animals. Many local families also come to the shelter for food

and other items. The balance is sent to the Jackson Food Pantry.

You can see just how far your donations go. Your generosity is greatly

appreciated by the Animal Shelter and all the little cats and dogs.

We do this for the love of animals.

Greetings All!

Our February Wine Tasting will be on Tuesday, the 18th when we will focus on Wines from Italy, along with the appropriate delectable hors d’oeuvres with an Italian flair.

We will once again follow our typical format for this evening – folks will enter through the Veranda for their name badges and raffle ticket – and then select their tables. The tables will be set for 8 places each and there is no assigned seating – you are encouraged to “mix and mingle” and welcome newcomers to our group. Please do remember to bring your WINE GLASSES with you for this tasting – wine does taste so much better in a glass than a plastic cup!

The cost for this tasting will be $20 per person, and checks should be made payable to FSML – Wine Club with the notation February in the memo line, and placed in the Wine Club lockbox #27 located in the Clubhouse Lobby NO LATER THAN Thursday, February 13th PLEASE. This ensures we have enough food and places set for everyone attending.

We will start the evening at 7PM – and doors will be open at 6:45PM. More details about our speaker and the particular wines for this tasting will be sent directly to Wine Club members at a later date.

The COMMUNITY MEETING originally scheduled for Thursday, February 20 in the clubhouse ballroom has been rescheduled to 7 PM MONDAY, FEBRUARY 24 at JACKSON LIBERTY HIGH SCHOOL AUDITORIUM. Jackson Police Department will address the community regarding the recent burglaries.

We realize this is an important meeting and many residents are planning on attending. The meeting location has been changed in order to accommodate everyone who wishes to attend.

Liberty High School is located at 125 North Hope Chapel Road.
