We welcome Brian Cook from Heavenly Eats Catering in Toms River, our special 
guest host, to cheer us up on a cold winter’s day. He will introduce us to the art of 
arranging a festive and delicious charcuterie board. A charcuterie board is of 
French origin and is typically served as an appetizer on a wooden board or stone 
slab. It may consist of cured meats or pates, cheeses, crackers, fruits and other 
tasty items. Brian will suggest which meats and cheeses to buy, what to use as 
decorative fillers and how to artfully arrange your board. Of course, there will be 
delicious appetizers to taste!

In collaboration with composer Richard  Rodgers, Hammerstein created some of Broadway’s most beloved classics, including  Oklahoma, Carousel, South Pacific, The King and I, and The Sound of Music. During this  fascinating program, he will take us on a journey through Oscar’s life - from his birth into a  theatrical family in 1895, through the triumphs and challenges of his storied career, to his enduring legacy  following his passing in 1960.
